The Organizational Behavior (OB) Division is very pleased to announce a new initiative involving off-cycle events that can benefit our membership. This initiative advances several goals outlined in our strategic plan for engaging and serving our diverse and global community. Specifically, we aim to expand opportunities for member-driven programming, support shorter-format events that are accessible across regions and career stages, and increase the number of events beyond the Annual Meeting, offering more chances to learn, share research, and build meaningful connections throughout the year.
We specifically solicit proposals from OB Division members for off-cycle events (i.e., year-round virtual and/or in-person events open to OB Division members outside the annual Academy of Management Meeting). We welcome and look forward to considering thoughtful proposals for such events from any OB Division member on an ongoing basis (i.e., there are no specific deadlines for proposals). The OB Division Executive Committee will evaluate the proposals as they are received.
Please submit the proposals via this form.
Cordially,
Bradley Kirkman (OB Division Chair)
Gilad Chen (OB Division Chair-Elect)
