Connect Quick Start Guide

1. Log-in

Log-in at https://connect.aom.org/ with your AOM username and password. On the homepage you will find the latest Discussions, Library resources, announcements, and more.

2. Personalize Your Profile

Click your thumbnail image in the top right corner to access your profile. Take a moment to add your photo, as well as your bio, education or job history. A complete profile helps other members learn more about you and will help you connect to others with similar interests.

3. Join or Start a Discussion

It's time to join the conversation! Explore all of the Discussions here. What should you do first?

Let us know you are here. Post to a Discussion to say hello and share what you are hoping to gain by participating.
Ask questions. What do you want to know more about? Have a question about anything from professional development to research methods? There's someone out there with the answer.
Share ideas. Is there a hot topic you want to discuss? How about a lesson you've learned that might help your fellow members? Start a discussion thread to give others a peek inside your world.
Give feedback. Use your knowledge and experience to answer other members' questions. Just click "Reply to Discussion" to the right of any discussion post.
Spread knowledge. Upload useful resources to a Connect@AOM library, check out what others have uploaded, and keep the sharing going.
